Nobody could foresee the immense support he will gain especially from the younger generation who are the major force behind his campaigns and rallies. He has rejected funding from Super PACS as he believed that politics and big money are a potent mix and is doing more harm than good for the country’s political system. I believe that in today's climate the Republicans are anything but conservative and Democrats are conservative, that Bernie Sanders is a conservative because he proposes less spending, smarter spending, with less tax dollars being spent on all the wrong things and this is why I’m voting for him. Bernie is conservative on healthcare. Currently this country spends more on healthcare than any other country in the world without even guaranteeing it. This is a result of tax dollars competing to provide care with private health insurance. Private health insurance offers no oversight and the prices keep skyrocketing to pay off investors with very little of the actual cost paid going to real health providers like nurses, technicians, and doctors.…

In 1981 he was elected Mayor of Burlington, Vermont by a mere 10 votes. Sanders, a self-proclaimed Socialist Democrat, has views that are completely unlike those of Vladimir Putin or Raul Castro. It's that annoying time of year again with commercials all over the televisions, signs and decorations all over the lawns of houses, and you can't even listen to the radio with out hearing about it, and no it's not Christmas time it's election time. With Elections comes all the fanfair about who should we actually vote into office. Even though I personally believe politics has turned into a joke if I had to vote for somebody I would vote for Bernie Sanders. I believe Bernie Sanders should be president based on his view over the issues considering minimum wage, health care for veterans, and believing all public high education should be free. Minimum wage is the lowest amount a person can be paid for while working a job, but it is no where near enough money to live off of.…

Tom Anderson says, “Women should have the right to safe and legal abortions because it ensures them full responsibility and free participation in society.” Agreeing with Anderson, M. Lee and Nancy Sprague says not only should abortions be allowed but they should be a constitutional right. Brian Wilson disagreed and said, “Abortions should be outlawed because they are taking the lives of unborn children,” in addition to agreeing with him Lynn-nore Chittom and Heather Newton they are trying to get the supreme court to overturn the Roe v. Wade case. In a way I agree with both sides for different reasons because they both have their pros and cons. If abortion remains legal I think more and more women will become pregnant and feel a since of not having to be responsible.…
