In the previous years America's education has been criticized unjustly. Children in America should not be required year round starting in 2020. First, Children need to have a social life outside of school. Next, children need a break from schooling. Finally, it disrupts family life. First, children need to have a social life outside of school, this may be unattainable for some children with year round schooling. Studies have shown that students with a better social life have astronomically lower level of stress and generally higher levels of happiness. Contrary to popular belief, the number one educated country, Finland has a summer break also. Finland’s schools are taught differently but still have the break, Finland’s students don't start school until age 7, it is rare for a Finn to get homework until they are well into their teens, Finland's students have only one mandatory standardized test taken when the student is 16, and all children are taught in the same classroom. With all of these things Finland has the highest percent of students attending college at an astounding 66 percent.
