My first reason is we vote for are leaders. In article I section 3 it states “ the senators are chosen by the states “. In this case the people are called the states. That piece of evidence from article I , section 3 shows that we vote for our senators. Another detail is from article II , section 1. It says “ The president elected by voters , serves a 4 year term.” Again the people are called the voters in that evidence but this shows that we vote for whatever president we think is best and we have to choose carefully because our president will serve a 4 year term unless he or she is impeached. In article V , section 3 it says “ the amendment becomes a part of the constitution if the legislatures of ¾ ths of the states approve it “ Yet again the people are represented as the states. This evidence though from article v , section 3 can show us that we help approve laws by a ¾ ths vote. Next we have the evidence from article IV , section 1. It says “ The states will all be represented in congress and will have the right to make laws for their own states “ this means that we have the right to make new laws for our states. Now here is an example for that. So say your the new governor of lets say Rhode Island you can make laws for your state because you are the governor of that state but because your the governor of your state only , you can’t make laws for the rest of the other states.
