Why Should Soldiers Be Paid More Than Athletes

Improved Essays
Should soldiers be paid more than athletes? YES, they should! A man in a helmet protecting our country deserves to be paid more than a man in a helmet playing a sport. There are many reasons to support my wonderful claim. Soldiers risk their life everyday for the right of others. Athletes should take a pay decrease and help support the soldiers. After all, soldiers fight for their rights to play sports! If it was up to me, I wouldn't pay them more that $100 a game. The rest of the money could be spent as food and other necessities to be sent to the ones who are over seas. By the end of this persuasive essay, maybe you will also want soldiers to be paid more than athletes.
