Why should rainforest logging be banned? Several reasons why rainforest logging should be banned include, its destroying millions of homes of species, many species of plants and animals have yet been discovered. Many medicines today come from plants in the rainforest, many foods we eat come out of the rainforest.
Rainforest logging is destroying homes of many species. Some of the species whose homes are getting destroyed are orangutans, types of snakes, and tree frogs. The homes of these animals are getting destroyed. Why would anyone want to destroy animal homes? Many people don’t even think about the animals that live in the rainforest. At least one animal habitat is being destroyed when they cut down one tree. There’s thousands of species that live or on the trees that are getting cut down. Most of the animals whose homes get destroyed won’t have anywhere to go. Many medicines are from plants in the rainforest. If we keep cutting down trees, there won’t be any more plants for our medicines. The plants will get crushed if we keep cutting down the trees. Those trees also help us breathe.
