A solution to this is making sure people are trained and that people are armed as well so that the people there will not be victims or another statistic (Downes). Although some people may have thought it would be difficult to get a gun with the lower federal courts ignoring parts of the Second Amendment and pushing for gun control (Verbuggen). “But local, state, and federal governments may no longer ban handguns” (Verbuggen, Pistol Whipping). Since people can buy handguns, a common self defence firearm, they should be properly trained so that they can protect themselves and their loved ones. To help people become more knowledged in gun safety, some firearm products should come with a color-coded manual for easy reading (Gregg). Since people would have a more easy-to-read manual, they would be more inclined to read it (Gregg). There are even built in safeties in the Australian-made Glock, a common and popular handgun, it is a safety so that if the firearm is dropped, the firearm will not fire (Gregg). It is a simple, effective, and low-priced solution to a problem and would help lure people into learning that guns are safe if used properly.
