In the article that I found it says kids should stick to walking. If kids stuck to walking they would be further behind then every other kid. I don’t think it’s necessary to fine someone $100,000 for having a baby walker. Banning them could make people want to move or protest against it, it can also cause stress on mothers and/or fathers because they would need to sit and help the baby walk everyday so it’ll stop them from doing other things like housework.
The article that I found made it seem like the walkers put children at risk when really the issue is parents not watching their kids in the walkers. When your baby starts walking on his/her own they’ll have some risks falling down the stairs or touching things they shouldn’t be touching. If the parent is able to baby proof the house then they should be able to get baby walkers to get their children walking at the right age. Taking away baby walkers and prevent obesity for kids at a young age and can make it to where kids won’t be walking until the age of 1 or even older.
