Have you ever thought about your viewpoint on marijuana being legal? Marijuana has been legalized in a few states, and now the topic of legal marijuana has gone from, “Should marijuana be legal in certain states?” to “Should marijuana be legal nationally?” While marijuana should be legal, some people think it should not be legal, just like any other debate. While some people believe marijuana impacts your body and life in a negative way, marijuana has many good uses, so it should be legal. In the medical world, marijuana has many uses. Multiple studies show that marijuana relieves nausea and vomiting (5). Not only does marijuana treat nausea, marijuana also treats appetite loss associated with many types of cancer and HIV (5). These are important reasons because these are all common problems that affect a lot of people, and these problems can be treated simply by legalizing marijuana.
