The online video The ‘Superpredator’ Scare illustrates the wave of crimes committed by youths in the 1900’s, but mainly depicts the murder of an eleven year old (Robert Sandifer aka “Yummy”) committed by the brothers Craig and Derrick Hardaway in Chicago. The video includes testimonies from criminal analysts and linguistics people to further explain the theory of “superpredators” conducted by John J.DiIulio Jr, and analyze if the study was the explanation to why youth delinquency was occurring, and could be applied to the Hardaway brothers.
