Pat Tillman was loved, modest, and he had a strong work ethic. Tillman was known for many things, but one the main things he was noticed for is his selflessness. When Pat Tillman saw the World Trade Centers go down in 2001, he had no doubt that he had to go serve. He was called, and that was the thing that he felt was right to do. Pat Tillman showed selflessness when he felt useless, so he went to serve. Another reason he was selfless was because he wanted to go back to playing football, but he said he had a job, and he wasn’t going to quit it. He had very many friends, coaches, and citizens that admired him through it all. “He was the youngest, but biggest man,” said one of his friends from the Arizona Cardinals. “The better he got, the more humble he got,” said head coach from the Arizona Cardinals. His team respected him a lot. It is obvious Tillman was loved because even though he died 12 years ago, people all around the world still go on Pat’s run every year, and they still remember him.
