Introductory:
Americans consume over 8.6 billion gallons of bottled water a year. The water bottle industry has always had much controversy surrounding it. But bottled water is a good thing to have in this country of the United States of America. And in this opinion, bottled water has many positive relations to our health and economy. For americans to buy bottled water is a good thing and here are reasons why, it is most definitely good for recycling the same bottle over and over again, troops in places like afghanistan are giving a supply of bottled water, and also over the years bottled water has become a way more safer way of getting a healthy drink easily.

The thing with water bottles and recycling in the past has not went super well with the consumers of said water bottles like fiji etc. In the past recycling water bottles was not to safe but manufacturers are taking steps over the years to make the safeness of recycling a thing that shouldn't be worried about as it gets progressively better. Water bottles can be recycled with “manufactures has taken steps to reduce the Water bottles environmental footprint” (Doss 1). With the So called footprints being reduced environmentally they have become less of a bad thing for the environment. And with the environment becoming safer the water bottle is even more of an option of safe water. If you have been kept up with information on the water bottle industry for a while then you would know that they have most definitely gotten much safer. There has been a lot of different ways manufacturers and labelers have use to increase their safeness for the consumer trying to buy the water. For example people like the FDA have made expectations and requirement for water bottles. Also “The International Bottled Water Association (IBWA) asserts that bottled water must meet the same FDA standards” (“Bottled Water is Safe” 1). These water bottle companies are way ahead of it nowadays. They have made many precautions to keep this industry safe. Also bottled water manufacturers use a tried and true approach on the water, from source to finished product, that helps ensure the safety and high quality of the product. These safety measures are important to keep our fully functioning clean water to give out to the americans to drink and not having them contaminated on the market. So this is why americans should keep buying bottled water for its major safe
