Why Is Denise Kicked The Stone

Denise kicked the stone. Kick, kick, kick! She kicked it and then walked after it. She thought it just was not fair! Why couldn't she be the princess in the play and why was Linda princess instead. She felt she was smarter than Linda, and she felt that she had done a better job during auditions. She wanted to obtain the role of princess in the play, but the class had voted for Linda. Denise saw a mud puddle ahead and she bent down to pick u a stone. Splat! She threw it into the puddle, but she did not feel any better.
