Why I Chose To Be A Statistician Research Paper

I chose to be a statistician for various reasons. My choices that I got from the survey I didn’t like. I felt like they weren’t something I would enjoy doing for me and my family. I want to do something involving things I love like basketball and golf. There is many different statisticians like a federal statistician, but I specifically would want to be a sports statistician. I enjoy watching sports and crunching numbers for them, so I thought this job would be perfect. The way I chose my house was based on staying near my family. In my family my dad’s sister lives all the way in Colorado. We would all like to see her more, so based on that I wanted to stay in the Arlington Heights which is where I bought my house. As a statistician you need to be able to use mathematics which I like to do. I have always had great grades in math so it fits perfectly. Also you need to know how to work with computers a bit. I like using computers for projects over writing with pen and paper. Another skill you need to use is time management. In school when I am given work in class I try my best to try and finish the paper and do it right. Another important skill is critical thinking which we practice every day at school. As a student I have strengths and weaknesses that will help me in my job. One more skill you need to have is working with groups. I love working with groups more than myself because I feel that together we produce better ideas. A weakness I have is studying. Although it’s not really needed for this it’s something I need to improve. A strength I have is getting a lot of work done when given time in class to get it done. For me to be a more successful statistician I need to get better reading and writing skills. I have planned on reading more each day and my parents are wanting me to take a reading and writing class in the summer to improve those
