Traditional teaching makes it hard to procrastinate because you can't put quizzes and tests off easily. When students can't put it off it makes them try to comprehend it or fail. Worksheets also help students learn by giving them an opportunity to practice what they learned. Many students now may feel that teachers assign worksheets and homework to take up time but they do it so you can practice and get better at new subjects.…

I would take pictures of my old school and then the school I go to now and show how different they work. In 2003 work was on a chalk board and there was recess outside and field trips and there were no writing essays and school now. Don't really go on field trips and if they do, they got to do work for it, but they don't go outside for recess, and they don't use chalk boards. Some do and some use computers and projectors to do work and writing essays and there was less work to do. Rebecca Schuman, a columnist for slate.com, wrote an article that required essays in colleges are nothing but a waste of time for both the teacher and students. The student will either find a way to have the paper written for them, plagiarize the whole paper, borrow the paper, or not even do it. While the teachers have to spend countless hours reading each and every single paper, correcting, rereading, fixing mistakes, and adding comments; all things that students probably will not care about one bit. So the teacher is really wasting the classes time by assigning something that only students who really care about will do. Plus a teacher does not get paid enough to put in all of the extra work, so a teacher is not only wasting the classes time,…
