The value of education is important to some individuals, but not to everyone. Some people might think education is not important, or they think it’s a waste of time, but I think differently. Education is important to me mainly because it can determine what my future holds. It’s also important because it can teach me everything I will need to know to be prepared. Without a diploma, I won’t be able to get a decent job. Education will prepare me for the future, and the highest education level I accomplish will make me more successful in life. I didn’t always understand this, but I do now.

I talked to one of the people giving a talk, and he said, ”School is very important. You should go to college because it will help you succeed in life and make your life better.” At that time I thought I never wanted to go to college because I thought it would be pointless, but I understand now that he was right. As I grew older, I gradually realized that college can help me in so many ways. I would love to experience college and learn new things and be in a new environment.
Education has affected my life in positive and negative ways. My freshman year of high school was a great year. I was playing football and getting good grades. I stayed out of trouble and I stayed positive. I had enough credits to go to the next grade. My sophomore year, thought, I had plenty of friends who really distracted me. It wasn’t their fault; it was mine. I wasn’t taking my education very seriously at that moment. I thought it was a joke and I never paid attention to my teachers. I never did my homework. When I did, I didn’t turn it in on

My new attitude has made me the person I am now: Someone who is positive, and who believes that if I take my time, concentrate, and do my work, I will accomplish my goals.
Not graduating on time taught me that education is the key part in my life. I need it to succeed. There will be tutors and teachers who will always be there to help and make sure you don’t fail. Mrs. B is an awesome high school teacher who will make sure you are comfortable with the work and make sure you understand the problems you are doing. She always tries her best to help students succeed and graduate. She is an excellent example of a successful person because she never gave up on anything and she kept striving until she got what she deserved. I would love to do the same as her and become a successful person.
Now I am only a couple days of getting my diploma. I am looking forward in continuing my education and going to college. I want to study criminal justice and, eventually, become a police officer. My goal in college is to study hard and do the best I can do. I know college is not a joke, and I will do everything in my power to listen, do my homework, and study more often until I earn my college

To be honest, I hate school with a passion, yet I love learning as much as living. As a child, schooling created a feeling of loneliness and sadness that echoed throughout my life, even now. I didn’t meet the standard levels for literacy and was separated from my classmates in elementary school for special reading and writing classes. Also the lack of freedom to say and move the way I wished to, and the rebellion that stemmed out of me in middle school due to these limitations. Finally, the conforming in high school to appease my mother, friends that drove me over the edge, yet even now I feel the same bull-crap in college.…
