Atman is Brahman is a phrase commonly used in Hindu teachings. Atman means the “individual soul” while Brahman is “world soul”. Therefore, this phrase is stating that the individual souls is the worlds soul. There is no distinction between us, on the one hand, and the ultimate divine reality in the other. All things living are divine in their deeper selves, it may be hidden by hatred, envy, fear or other negative thing, but in the end, everyone has divinity. How does “Atman is Brahman” connect with Karma, Samsara, Maya and Moksha? Samsara is the cycle of death and rebirth.
