In Dodgeball kids need to learn and understand that losing is not always looked down on. Dodgeball would help the children understand that just because if they lose one time doesn’t mean people always lose and that does not make them a loser. Another lesson it teaches kids is how to do teamwork and today I think that is a big lesson for people. In Dodgeball this would help others gain confidence and stand up for themselves. No one wants to be the kid that gets hit. While playing the teachers need to teach children that it is only a fun activity and not a war zone. According to of The Weak Shall Inherit the Gym,“Then their kids will stumble out into the bright light of the real world and find out that, yes, there’s weak and there’s strong and teams and sides and winning and losing.” This is telling us that if we shelter our children then they will have no idea what the real world is like.
