This paper was written mainly from researches on the Internet. It covered a wide range of resources such as website, research papers, books… With the information collected, this essay first discusses about the concept of subconscious and dreams. As the subconscious mind is subjective, studies that attempt to prove its existence were examined. After that, the theory of how dream might represent the human subconscious (the relationship between subconscious and dreams) was also inspected. In relation to that, the essay also inspects the possible impact that subconscious and dreams have on our daily lives. The strengths and weaknesses of the theory were also examined by presenting arguments for and against them.
