Why Do Racoons Look Different Than Other Animals

Raccoons look different than other animals. Raccoons have short legs, small ears that stand straight up, a pointy nose, and paws look like human hands. Raccoons are 30-36 inches long. They weigh about 22 pounds. Sometimes, the large males can weigh 44 pounds. They have dark fur around their face that looks like a mask!
Raccoons also have bushy tails that have dark bands or shaggy coarse fur. They have iron gray color, and mask-like fur on their face.
Raccoons live in different places! They live in Canada, USA, South America, woods and areas near water in large cities.They can live in cities or in the wild in hollow trees or at the top of the buildings in cities.
