Why Do People Have The Right To Stop Suffering?

Everyone is different, we think and act different from each other . Which is why there is no right or wrong answer, it is just our perception , our lessons and our experiences have shaped the way we see things . And that is my answer for this week teaching panel, I don’t support nor disagree with the idea of people ending their lives to stop suffering. However, I do believe that people do have control of their bodies. One may think it is wrong to end a life because it is selfish and cowardly for not concerning the pain he/she might causing to their loved ones, but we don’t know the pain of the person and he/she has been through to come to such a heartbroken decision Rasmussen’s story is a great example of how someone might want to end his/ her life. It is just the matter of time and how we are going to die. Please don’t call people cowards if their wish is to die. You don’t know how much pain that person has been through person. As Rasmussen stated, “ The strongest was that patients should have the right to make own decisions about how to face” ( Jarvis 46). It is their bodies and their lives so they have the right to make the decisions. You are not the one that live their life, so it is not your position and decision to have control of their life. . Like I said, everyone is different, we see lives differently. One may see life as a wonderful world with full of adventures, however others might see the world as a place of pain and sorrow. It is okay to think like that because we are the ones that deal with our problems.
. Overall, it is not wrong to kill yourself because it is your body and you should the control of it. However, if you are thinking about ending your life, get help from other people because we all only have one life, and once you lose it you will never get it
