Why Do Mars 2020

NASA is planning for the launch date of the Mars rover to be 2020.the rover will be built on human curiosity. There will be differences in the rover the differences will be determined on the last rover sent to Mars. The scientist will be putting in landing system, including a sky crane and a heat shield. The rover body can be created without doing any other building or research. This will reduce the overall risk for the mission, while saving money and time on development. One of the rover upgrades is a better control system called Terrain Relative Navigation to better control the steering in the final moments of the rover landing.
