And if kids that age aren’t aloud to make any other decisions why would you put their whole life in their hands? They aren’t old enough to even know what they want in life yet, we are steadily changing our minds we can’t even get up and decide what we want to wear in the morning much less making our own medical decisions. When you think of medical decisions you may not think much about it but when you dig deeper there is so much more and that’s why I see this as such a big deal, it’s not in any shape or form something to just mess around with and not put a lot of thought into. This is our lives were talking about we need people with maturity not just a kid that is still growing up and learning about life. This is not something to just check yes or no and be done with it. It is something that needs a lot of thought put toward backed up with reasons. And yeah you could bring up the most hated topic which is terminal diseases and say how sometimes it ends up being only the parents who want to keep fighting because the child who is actually fighting is ready to give up and is suffering but I don’t feel like any age under 16 should be able to make
