Rome was very technologically advanced for their time, and created many inventions that still contribute to our everyday life today. They had some of the best technology, and maintained these high standards from the beginning of Rome, in 753 BC, to the fall of Rome, in 476. So, just how did Rome start? And, what caused it to end so abruptly? In 753 BC, Romulus founded the Roman Empire. This led to a series of events that would change the course and history of the Roman Republic. Throughout the peak time of the Roman Empire, they faced many challenges, but also received many advantages because of the hardships they endured. According to softschools.com, in 509 BC, Rome became a Republic. But, with this major gain, there also came many disadvantages.
