To learn what users expect of social sites, the project team looked at Facebook, Linkedln, Google+ we studied the user experience of the world’s best social networking sites, and combined it with the concepts of enterprise portals.

2 How can intranets help companies achieve their business objectives?
Many can receive important company communication. It also, can improve daily tasks. Also give employees access for information and document from home and mobile. It can make a better way to reach others and work with them to collaborate on projects. It can reduce the time while by reading and answering email. And it can repair technical problems for the intranet if it has issues.

Virtually every industry and organization can benefit from better project collaboration. Manufacturing, in particular, has complex projects with many moving parts. Integrating the expertise of numerous people in various locations and sharing large amounts of data is difficult with traditional solutions, such as email and spreadsheets. Open collaboration is critical in bringing people, ideas, systems and data together seamlessly to complete projects on time, on budget and at a high quality.
