Hitler became Fuhrer by eradicating his antagonisms. His foes were primarily: Communists and the Reichstag. He liquidated the Reichstag problem by setting the Reichstag on fire. He then lied and made people petrified by being deceitful about the hypothetical ‘Communist Revolution’ whom allegedly instigated this. He used this as a benefit as it gave him an excuse to get emergency power thus ending the threat from the communists and the Reichstag, as well as gaining more power and making him more popular.
A further factor towards Hitler’s rise to power was Hindenburg’s death. Without his death Hitler never would have never been able to appoint himself president, much less combine the role of Chancellor
