Connecticut should not fully legalize marijuana because it has harmful effects on people. Taking in too much of it can wreck the lives and careers of millions of our citizens. Yet, marijuana remains the recreational drug of choice for millions of Americans. Critics of full legalizing it argue that the drug does more harm than good. Users of marijuana may experience both physical and psychological effects. Physical effects range from red eyes to dry mouth, to an increase in heart rate and loss of coordination. People should think before they use marijuana. And connecticut. In Connecticut, it is decriminalized so people are fined and given a civil violation for possessing small amounts. Meanwhile, it is legal for posseing medical treatment by a doctor’s perscription as long as the patient is over 18 years old.
Decriminalizing marijuana can expose children to the idea that it is safe. and they may have access to it and use it themselves.
