During the last few months there has been a decreased number of talented women in the workplace. Consequently, men working for Whole Foods Market surpasses women by 71%. The main reason why women are leaving the workforce is due to children’s issues. Many of this women are finding it difficult to manage their job while dedicating time for their children’s. A survey conducted by the Human Resource department of American Airlines found that onsite daycare highly contributes to the retention of employees. The survey established that 62% of the employees are more likely to remain committed to the company for a period of seven to ten years. To begin implementing this plan Whole Foods Market will partner with the new A B C Daycare which is located a quarter mile from the workplace. Only thirty percent of the A B C Daycare customers will be non-Whole Foods Market employees. Respectfully, employees will be allow to visit their children’s as many times as they desire. The daycare has agree to hire a full time nurse. The reason for this is that employees should feel secure. Accordingly, within the next week there will be a certificated director that will help assist with any problems or questions that employees might encounter. In the other hand, all Whole Foods Market employees will paid forty percent less than typical customers. Finally, the idea is that the plan will take into effect the next month.
In order for women to keep representing Whole Foods Market the company has decided to partner with A B C Daycare a high quality and affordable daycare. All employees will be able to take be part of this advantages that this onsite daycare offers including the interaction with their children during lunch.
