This essay will be about important events in the life of Selena Quintanilla Pérez, from beginning to end. Her life was filled with success but unfortunately, she did not live a very long life. She was a famous Tejano singer and a fashion designer, she performed in the band, Selena y los Dinos.

Selena was born on April 16th, 1971 in Lake Jackson Texas to Marcella & Abraham Quintanilla. She was the youngest of 3 children, her brother is AB and her sister is Suzette Quintanilla. As children they played and practice their instruments as a band, AB played bass, Suzette was a drummer and Selena was the singer. Their first performance was in 1980 when they opened a family restaurant named “Papa Gayos”, but soon became bankrupt. Then they moved
