There are many people that can blamed for Romeo and Juliet’s death. But the actual people are the feuding families. If they had ended their feud when the prince had threated their lives at the beginning then maybe Romeo and Juliet would still be alive. In the play Romeo and Juliet, the two families are to blame for the death of a young couple.
To start off the feud in the square the 2 families fought. One of the servants bit his thumb, an obscene gesture, towards the other family which led to anger between the families.
