Personal Narrative
Before we get into the story, let me explain to you what is a white-headed langur. A white-headed langur is a special species of monkey that lives in Chong Zuo, China. This species is one of those endangered species in China just like the panda. Professor Pan from the University of Beijing was sent to research and rescue the monkey from danger. Professor Pan was a famous scientist of animals. He was sent to save both pandas and dolphins and had honored by the government.
Our school SWIS(Shen Wai International School) was extremely lucky to welcome Professor Pan to our school also taking several students to his camp to study. Within that several student, one of them was me.
We got to the camp with about 3 hours of traveling and it was worth it. On the bus they had introduced some members of the Camp, the other was waiting in the camp for us and preparing for the first class we’re about to have. He had also …show more content…
We walked for almost for 1 hour. In the process, we had also been doing activities about White-headed Langur. Drawing the habitats, finding information cards, listening to another story of the monkeys. We finally got to the final destination. we got up to a hill beside the side of the mountains. There was literally no sound but people gasping for air. There were several habitats on the sides of the mountains. We were sitting on the ground, looking over the ocean of trees. We saw monkeys on the sides of the mountains jumping around, from trees to tree. But whenever the monkeys see us they seem that they were terrified seeing us trying to get away us. “Is that the reaction just because of the hunters?” I thought. “The monkey is scared of us, ” someone said from the behind. “It is because we human has been capturing these monkeys for cruel goals and aim. That's why they are so terrified of us.” The leader of the camp explained to
