When Should Reading Be Taught In Schools

I use to think of reading as what your forced to read for school. That required 10 minutes of reading that increased every year. However, as got older reading became an increasing part of my daily life. For me reading is any time we read. Whether we are reading for fun, learning, or required. Reading happens when we pick up the phone to look at a text to when we read a text book. Reading has become an important skill with many different levels. Reading allows us to look at what otherwise by a group of random symbols and decode them to produce words and meanings.
