It all started when 15 innocent school children were taken in by the government and tortured for writing anti-government graffiti on a wall. In the beginning the protests started peacefully, they were just asking for the children to be released. While the citizen’s were peacefully protesting the government responded with violence by killing four people. I interviewed six people who all had reasons to there answers, some of them know refugees or have taught a refugee before, such as Mrs.Ford who said, “I know 2 kids who are syrian refugees, I teach american history and I feel like we have a heritage as a nation to help and it's been good to us. We are seen as a nation to help and others come to our aid for help.” I think Syrian refugees should be welcomed to countries that are able to host them and more AID should be provided.
