Every day Americans use some form of technology, whether it be our computers or our cars. Technology is used every single day without an extra thought given to it. It is never thought about the innovations that allow the computers to do what they do. Americans don’t think about the decade that made an impact on technology. The 1970s had its effect on technology.
In addition to having the best people wanted more than the best. The U.S. Navy pushed for newer and greater technology, engineering staff had to step up their game (Varrasi).
