I am going to my paper on the of immigration.I feel that immigration in the U.S has become crazy over the past 10 years. Many people don’t want any immigrants coming to the U.S and the ones that are here are being sent back to our home lands.Everyday more immigration stops are put into place around the country.Families are being separated and as much as we try to stop all this we can’t.Our voices aren 't being heard we are being treated as if we were animals and our thoughts could mean less. What they don 't seem to understand is that we all migrate into the U.S all in hope. Yet no one ever seems to look at it that way.We are always looked as a threat to society. We are categorized as terrorist, rapist, criminals, etc.
Historical Underpinning Immigration in the U.S has become a huge issue in the U.S. Immigrants are part of our economy and part of the reason why are able to keep it stable.Immigrants pay taxes, green cards, Visas, and many more that make up millions of dollars. WIth this money millions of more jobs are created and immigrants are vital to the U.S economy. Immigrants have been here forever. A approximate amount of 13% of the U.S population is made up of illegal immigrants. These are people that come in hope of a better life and future for their families. These immigrants come and work hard jobs such as in fields picking fruit and vegetables. Long hours terrible pay but it is way better than what they had living in their home lands. Not just that but many work construction for low pay because of the fact that just because they aren 't legal citizens they don 't deserve the same pay. Slowly but surely immigrants are building one better America for not a such of a big price tag. Although they contribute and help our economy stay stable many people hate illegal immigrants. Many people hate illegal immigrants because they feel like they come to steal other people 's jobs and come and abuse of the benefits the U.S. When in reality illegal immigrants come to take those jobs that others won 't do for the little pay that is given. A good example people that hate illegal immigrants is presidential candidate Donald Trump. He believes every Mexican is a criminal, every Muslim is a criminal, every African American is a thug, and etc. He creates these stereotypes of immigrants causing others to create hate towards illegals. According to Donald Trump to make America great again we need to get rid of all the immigrants. He believes a wall is needed to stop all these “criminals” from entering the country and mass deportation is needed. What people like Trump do not see is that millions of dollars are generated out of these illegals. Programs like DACA and DAPA give illegal immigrants that have been in the U.s for a certain time access to a work permit and a social security number. You have to renew every 3 years and these applications arent cheap to fill out.Lots of money is generated through these application.Just in the state of Colorado 84,000 people were eligible in 2012.Imagine all the money that is made …show more content…
The nations population has grown with over 131 million since 1965 to 2015. 72 million of those being nothing but illegal immigrants. As you can see many immigrants have started to migrate into the U.S.All of these in hope of good jobs and good educations for their kids. What person wouldnt want the best for their child. It is estimated that at some point illegal immigrants will make up more than half of the U.S population.
Although these numbers look crazy and it may seem like immigrants are coming in like crazy we have the highest deportation rate in history at the moment. So are there really many immigrants migrating in when we have this mass deportation going on.Sure numbers say that we more immigrants are migrating but the media seems to hide all the deportation that is going on.Yes in 1960 immigrants percentage was less high but in 2016 it hasnt gone up so much.Over 2000-2010 we had the high immigrant percentage. But ever since then the percentages have gone up but only by about
