This paper on the impact climate change is having on five population of polar bears made me really sad to see just how these polar bears are struggling to survive. I was first appalled to see that hunting quota's on polar bears was increased due to the observations near settlement when it was clear to me they were near the settlement due t their extreme food deprivation and were looking for food. The polar bears being near the settlement should display the desperation. Although it was interesting to read about how they conducted their research using the radio collars and were because of these able to track the population movement and thus determine which polar ice they need to monitor.
