What Is The Cause Of World War II?

World War II started on September 1, 1939, and ended on September 2, 1945. The war lasted for six years and one day, to be exact. It started because Germany attacked Poland. Hitler didn’t want to terminate the plan of invading Poland, so France and Britain declared war on Germany. Throughout the war, approximately fifty million people were killed.
The United States got involved in the war on December 7, 1941. It was after an American fleet, Pearl Harbor, was bombed by the Japanese. Later, on August 6, 1945 the United States dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan. About 140,000 people died because of the bombing. Three days later, about 80,000 people were killed because the United States dropped another bomb in Nagasaki, Japan.
