A technological issue that a Chief Information Officer (CIO) may have to deal with in the company that they work for, could be a malicious user breaking into the company’s data systems. The CIO ethical approach should be a teleological system. The CIO should take a utilitarian type approach with the subtype called rule-utilitarianism because the CIO should also be thinking about the employees and customers that can be in harm from this critical issue.
