The book Harriet Tubman: The Road to Freedom is freedom. The main idea of this book is to give a deeper insight on the life and struggle that was endured during slavery. Freedom was a desired by every slave, but this desire failed to become their reality due to imprisonment. Imprisonment is to hold others against their will in which was common during this era. Even though slaves longed for their freedom, they were terrified to desire a luxury of this such freedom, because this desire required them to face life threatening consequences. This placed fear amongst them and they needed someone who was going to fight and show them way because many were incapable of doing it for themselves.
