My greatest skill is that I don't let people's negative opinions on me bring me down anymore. In the 8th grade, the only thing that mattered to me was what people thought about me. I would try so much to try and conform to the many middle school trends, and I became a really self absorbed person. When entering high school, I stopped being like that and I started to care about actually important things like my grades and education. It is extremely easy to go back to your old ways and I did when I met my first boyfriend. I became self-conscious again and I would change everything about myself to please him, and to be adored by the person I thought mattered the most to me.
