What does it means to be a trainer? “Training” is an educational process that requires knowledge, skills and all the essential abilities to successfully perform and complete the job effectively. Training in many businesses today is an important aspect to a company’s success, from hiring the right and ethical employees to having the right training tools and systems to make the business/ company successfully grow and develop. Creating a successful training program along with having an excellent skilled employee to execute the program will only better help employees understand how the business works and set the bar of expectation for the job on a higher note at the start of employment. To me what it means to be a trainer is someone who is knowledgeable and who can lead by example of how the company’s policies and procedures are performed in an ethical way.
A good trainer to me must be knowledgeable of the materials that are going to be presented and taught, be able to infuse their own experience, and provide the correct information to the new incoming employees. Becoming a trainer and being knowledgeable of the job performances and tasks will only guarantee the level and quality of information being trained to the new upcoming employees. An excellent trainer is one who can communicate effectively with others. Someone who can communicate the program effectively to trainees are easily able to instill the company policy and procedures and have a greater success in building the company up by instilling the company’s expectations and ethics. Being able to display great communication can give trainees an open line of communication where they can feel comfortable to express their concerns without feeling ridiculed.
