What Does Capitalism Mean To Me Essay

Capitalism to me is a system based on a person’s interest to succeed and how hard one works to obtain its goals in life. For example all business owners took that one risk of starting a new business in order to improve their living standers. In many ways they who took the risks when no one did are they who deserve to be successful. In a socialism system its people believe in blaming their struggles to the risky businessman and by doing so they believe in higher taxes towards their success. That type of system alone I find unfair, because it gets you to think that being ambitious for what you want is a bad thing. In which a lot of social loafing is involved. Reasons why I like the capitalism system is because it promotes you to start your own business as well as your own service and be able to make your own profits of all that. As I’ve learned the typical Capitalist usually always try to respond to the needs and desires of the every day customer and with it take advantage and execute on making profits. In that sense I believe that I'm a capitalist because I do believe that you as an individual have the responsibility to be successful and have nothing granted to you, especially from the government. In response to social loafing it gets me upset that with my tax money the government uses that to pay many free loaders. It is not fair that while I work hard I make the minimum to survive. While others in the other hand have their rents paid off, food stamps on check and get many benefits. Those same benefits I must work hard to obtain. I also like the capitalist system because it involves the government to not be too involved. The negative side of all this is that the government needs to be involved.
