But what if the resources they needed to survive slowly started disappearing and thing things that brought us joy were taken away from them because of the people that said they would never hurt them. Can we apologize in advance for something we turned away from because we felt it wasn 't our problem or that we wont be around or have to deal with when it gets worse? Climate change has always been around, it plays a huge role in our lives and right now it 's worse than ever, showing no signs of slowing or stopping theres really only one factor to blame for it 's rapid increase, mankind.

Climate scientists agree the main cause of climate change is greenhouse gas emissions. Created when sunlight reaches the Earth’s surface, it can either be absorbed by the Earth or reflected back into space. The planet releases some of the energy back into the atmosphere when the rest is absorbed as heat. These gases like carbon dioxide, methane, and water vapor: absorb the energy, decelerating or inhibiting the loss of heat back into space. Therefore the gases acting like a blanket, causing the Earth to increase in temperature.…

Flooding is a main product of climate change, which is one reason why climate change is an important issue in our society today. Climate change is defined, according to the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) as an “...increase in global average air and ocean temperatures, widespread melting of snow and ice, and rising global average sea level.” The U.S. National Academy of Sciences concludes that “... the Earth system is warming and that much of this warming is very likely due to human activities.…

Climate change is a change in climate and carbon emissions is the carbon dioxide emitted from automobiles. Carbon emissions have been devastating to the planet. The oceans have been rising for years and the water might rise an additional one-four feet by the end of the 21st century. When the sea rises, homes are flooded, which can displace several people. Furthermore, the oceans will continue to rise since the cool skin layer of the ocean becomes warmer and less heat escapes the ocean.…

Even though there are companies that rely on us to use fuels that cause pollution, world governments should allocate more resources to combat climate change because it is causing sea levels and global temperatures to rise. This is not the only thing that is happening or will happen in the near future, droughts will last longer, hurricanes will be stronger and more intense, air and water quality will decrease also. First, world governments should allocate more resources to combat climate change because it is melting the Arctic and Antarctic ice caps. Artic sea ice usually hits its minimum during September each year. Since 1979 satellite-based observations shows that annual minimum sea ice is decreasing at a rate of 13.4 per decade.…

The subject of climate change has been hotly debated over the past decade. It is now obvious that the climate is changing and that it is more than likely going to cause problems in the future. The amount of carbon dioxide being released into the atmosphere has considerably increased since the Industrial Revolution. As fossil fuels such as coal, natural gas, and crude oil are burned, carbon dioxide is discharged into the atmosphere where it is trapped. This is called the greenhouse effect and although essential to the survival of all life on Earth, this process has gotten out of hand recently.…
