This argument is one of the many buzzing all over America’s juries and even social media. The death penalty discourages many from committing a crime, simply because they don’t want to die. The disincentive the death penalty proposes is strong enough that it has enough power to drive one away in case of crime. When a criminal is plotting a plan, they are most likely going to try to avoid the penalty of death, well of course if they aren’t suicidal.
