The jobs that men had they either got fired, laid off, cut pay, or they had no pay. Now imagine, you are a man/ women that got laid off there/ your job, what would you do? You can’t find food, you can’t find clothes, clean water is a problem because you can’t pay the water bill, let alone the heating bill. What to do, you could move into one of those camps that you sleep on the floor, ration every dollar,make you children who are only 12 and up move out to free ride get jobs or maybe you didn't even sent them out the left because you couldn't feed them. Sad right? Didn't think about it. No jobs no money no care is what these people were going thru.
In conclusion, The great depression was hard on the american family. The Families going thru this were hit very hard. If you were in that time, what would you do, Kill for money live by the free soup line to get free food. Once the president said “the only thing we have to fear is fear itself” and that's what families
