What Are The Causes Of Civil Disobedience

I believe that while seemingly harmless, peaceful disobeying the law can be an extreme disaster. Reluctance to obey a law set by the government can cause a chain reaction to those around you. I do not believe or government here in America is perfect, nor do I ever expect it to be. But with that being said, we are extremely fortunate to live in America, land of the free and home of the brave. We have many possibilities and opportunities that so many countries around the world are not granted. I believe that it is our duty, morally and constitutionally to obey those who govern us. This is not to be misinterpreted as we should follow the government because we "owe" them something, but more out of respect for the many availabilities they open to us. …show more content…
One of her most famous lines is,"You must never be fearful about what you are doing when it is right.” These are words every American should live by. Another popular yet terrific example is the famous Martin Luther King Jr. He wrote in his letter to Birmingham about a lady who he crossed paths with, she was standing up for her beliefs as well, her quote is one I will ever forget. She said,"My feets is tired, but my soul is at rest." These are words I live by as I face hardships as well, when you're doing something for the good of mankind- you should be proud. No matter how large your accomplishments are. I am so proud of America because I have many family members who are law officers, policemen and firefighters. They work every day to make the world a safer and happier place, and it is a waste of their time and the government energy for them to have to go stop people for doing senseless protesting. However- if you believe in something strong enough, nothing should stop you. I have no right to say what people can and can not do- but what I know is that we are very fortunate to be where we
