As a Republican candidate running for president, Trump thinks the immigrants are rapists, criminals, and drug dealers. Trump is bias towards the immigrants because he anticipates that the immigrants commit the majority of the crime and violence in America. From a moral standpoint, I believe Trumps immigration plan is unfair because it asserts certain groups of people to be different than the others. Although I am a U.S. citizen, my parents came from a different country. Consequently, Trump 's plan will deport my family, and my friends, and possibly your family and friends too.…

Donald Trump is known far and wide as the man who wants to build a huge wall between America and Mexico to keep out immigrants. Trump believes that building a wall is going to make all the violence and issues of the country disappear but Clinton is smarter than that. Clinton wants to work on getting rid of violence all together and she understands that ones race doesn’t determine whether they are violent or not. Violence is a huge problem in this country that needs to be fixed but getting rid of a race isn’t going to fix it. When I first heard Trump say, “We have some bad hombres here, and we are going to get them out.…

Trump believes that illegal immigration is destroying U.S. taxpayers, and he believes that neither Republicans nor Democrats are helping the situation. Republicans don’t do anything about illegal immigration because some of their business supporters want cheap labor. Democrats look at illegal immigrants as potential Democratic voters (135-136). Both Democrats and Republicans may have their reasons for illegal immigrants to stay, but Donald Trump thinks that the parties need to put America’s interests first and that illegal immigrants need to return from whence they came. Trump then continues to discuss that illegal immigrants are by definition, lawbreakers, and refers to them as “illegal aliens” due to the fact that illegal immigrants are often members or violent gangs.…

This shows the purpose of Trump’s side of the argument, which is that he wants to improve America by reducing illegal immigration rates by having a permanent border wall and increase fees on all border crossings. Following up on his belief, Trump wants to construct the new immigration policy that will, in his opinion, return the safety of laws for the American people. The immigration policy also proposes the mandatory return of all criminal aliens currently subsiding in the United States. Trump recognized the Obama Administration for releasing 76,000 aliens from custody of committing criminal convictions since 2013, but still wants to continue on that action by having all criminal aliens to be deported to their home countries by cancelling visas and adding an additional committed crime to being in a country illegally (Trump 3). This further contributes to Trump’s purpose to reduce illegal immigration in the United States and putting all American citizens as a priority in this country.…

This begs the question: should the United States be allowed to repatriate all aliens back to their native soil? By stating that Mexican does not send out their best people, Trump referred to the fact in 2014, as also reiterated by Migration Policy Institute (Zong & Batalova, 2017), that 69% of Mexican immigrants aged above 5 came to the U.S with limited proficiency, higher then all immigrants’ average of 50%, and only 6% over age 25 had a bachelor degree or higher compared to the 29% of all immigrants average, and 30% of native born. As the impact of the low-paying job they get, 28% of Mexican immigrants lived in property and have the lowest household income median compared to all immigrants’ and native-born (Zong & Batalova, 2017). However, there is also misconception construed within the statement. A large percentage of Mexican immigrants led a stable and honest life- although for some it is back-breaking. One-third of them own homes and only 7% convicted as criminals and furthermore, only a fraction of those, only 3%, had been convicted of felonies or serious misdemeanors (Yee, Davis, & Patel,…
