Wendy's is a franchise fast food company founded by Dave Thomas in the nineteen hundreds in Columbus Ohio. He named the company after his daughter Melinda "Wendy." The company's competitors are other large franchises like McDonald and Burger King selling aImost the same thing. I became familiar with this organization when I was employed to work there 2016. I was in training for the job for two weeks before they let me loose. I watched videos about the company and how things are done to get familiar with it. During my training the employees were very nice and loving and also helping me with things that I couldn't do. They made me feel like I'm their blood family. It was a good feeling. Beef/meat is always "fresh and never frozen". The products are always ordered every Tuesday by the site managers so they can still be fresh and enough to carry for the whole week. This prevents the products to get very old. The drinks at the stores are already pre-made in the freestyle coke machine with about one hundred and fifty flavors. Foods are dropped fresh in the grill or oils according to how busy it is or how many customers are in lines. When customers are waiting for their food to be served, they see it was just brought out of the grill or fire, they are excited because it will be very hot and fresh to eat. Wendy's Vegetables are always fresh. They are stored in a standing cooler. Salads are made every morning from scratch by employees every morning before the store open to public. things like tomatoes, lettuce, etc. are sliced in the mornings too. While interviewing Ms. Patricia I asked her what customer service mean to her and she stated "Taking care of the customers and making them happy. Customers are always right." Quality service is provided to each and every customer. As customers are walking into the door, they are being greeted by the employees most importantly the cashier. Small talks are created by the cashier to entertain customers before taking their orders. Employees are trained before sent off to the floors to ensure they are capable of providing great service. The company pays for employees to be trained to the best before working at assigned positions. Employees are trained for at least two weeks and the managers make sure they are good at what they do before they are a little loose. Another service this franchise provides is by raising money to help the community. Wendy's fund raise to support the Dave Thomas foundation for adoption.
