At the beginning of the year, the song I chose, . There is determination in my eyes because, “I’m just about ready for high school” I was thinking that. The song I chose is ‘Welcome to the Jungle”, original is recorded by “Guns n’ Roses, the one I chose is the same song just played on and by 2Cellos. The song is as loud as a jungle, just like the halls and lunch room. Kids running to the lunchroom is just like feeding time at the zoo. It’s like that because everybody wants to get food and find a place to sit and eat their food. In the lunchroom it is loud as a herd of laughing hyenas taunting their prey, like students eagerly waiting for their food in the menu lunch lines.
The halls are crazy like two animals fighting in the jungle.

During breakfast, most students enter the building through an exterior cafeteria door, while the remaining students (about 50-75) enter the school through the front doors and proceed directly to the cafeteria. Lunch is more crowded and serves 325 students in each lunch period therefore creating a logistical nightmare. There are two lunch periods (11:15 a.m.-noon, and noon-12:45 p.m.).…

We all know that school provided lunches aren’t very good, so why not leave school for lunch? Students are always complaining about how bland as well as small school lunches are, so the best option to fix these complaints is to have an open lunch. Food isn’t just a basic component of survival, it’s also one of the many things that makes life enjoyable; but school lunches are neither nutritious or pleasing to eat. Open lunch should be allowed in Augusta High School because there are many benefits to it like more food options, boosting the local economy, and practicing time management skills. Students all need very nutrient dense meals since they are all both growing and expanding their knowledge.…

The song I choose is Me, Myself, and I by G-Eazy ft. Bebe Rexha. I chose this song because sometimes life can be hard, and it may seem like you are alone. High school is a highly emotional time, and sometimes the people we choose as friends aren’t really your friends. I can relate to this song because I’ve had moments were its felt like it was only me, myself, and I. This song is my favorite because I can and have related to it.…

The song I chose is “Surfin’ U.S.A.”, is characterized by the Beach Boys. I chose this song because of how laid back the tune sounds and makes me want to relax. It’s relaxing because the song reminds me of the beach and the sounds of the waves. In the song it talks about how they will be gone for the summer and to tell the teacher they have gone surfing. The summer always reminds me of the beach and all the surfers in the water.…

My next song song is just kinda a feel good song about high school, and hanging out with your friends and always wishing you were older. The “ Sixteen” by Thomas Rhett talks about wishing you were sixteen and then when you turn sixteen you wish you were eighteen. The line “Cruisin up and down main in my F150” describes high school for me. It’s not a specific event but just being in high school one last year with my friends I thought I’d choose a song that talked about that. In my opinion this song has some of the best lyrics out of any country song I’ve…
