Dry Ice Experiment The dry ice experiment, was a very interesting way of looking at dry ice, and how it reacts to water. In this experiment I learned a lot about dry ice which was a key part in the experiment. First of all in the experiment all we did was place water in a plate and put some dry ice in the water. We also had to do some research on dry ice. For example we had to find out its temperature. Dry ice is basicly the solid form of carbon dioxide or CO2. Dry ice is not the same as regular ice this type has a temperature of -109.3F, or -78.5C. The reaction of water and dry ice is called sublimation, or sublimates. When the teacher added some water to the dry ice a reaction
