Civil disobedience is the use of boycotting protesting rejection or not following laws or policies that are not fair and do not include all people. According to dictionary.com, civil disobedience is the refusal to obey certain laws or governmental demands for the purpose of influencing legislation or government policy, characterized by the employment of such nonviolent techniques as boycotting, picketing, and nonpayment of taxes. It is appropriate to break the law or defy ones government because if you believe that the law is not equal for all people, then you should fight for what’s right.
